We are keen supporters of sustainable design and hold Passivhaus certification. Where possible we work with local suppliers and consultants. We aim to reduce the impact of our buildings through the use of smart building materials and natural daylight.
For the future
Sustainable Design
”Vanessa brings a wealth of experience to a scheme especially being a Certified Passivhaus Designer with an eye for detail & a great communicator making everyone feel at ease whilst maintaining professionalism at all times.

Key to success
BIM
We draw and design using 3D CAD and use Virtual Reality goggles to demonstrate and develop our schemes to clients. This speeds up the design process and ensures the design meets the aims of the project.
Making it happen
Grants & Fundraising
Charitable organisations appreciate our experience in preparing information to support their applications for funding. We understand the challenges of raising finances for projects and happily become involved in the process.
”Herlig Marles have taken time to get to know what we do as a charitable business. Anita and Vanessa have fresh new ideas that compliment what we want to achieve and which are sympathetic to the values of our business and charitable objectives.
Jim HidderleyWild Goose Rural Training
”Everyone finished this project proud of what they had achieved and with a high degree of respect for Vanessa, who was the key ingredient to designing and creating a building which has made, and will continue to make, a profoundly positive impact on our community.

Inspiring talent
STEM Ambassadors
We support young people in their pursuit of science, technology, engineering and maths subjects by attending career fairs and mock interviews in local schools. We are especially keen to encourage girls to seek employment in the building industry.
WHO WE ARE
Time to let the light in
Whatever the project - massive or modest, bold or sensitive - we answer a brief without ever losing sight of the practical, budgetary or commercial demands – oh yes, and the creation of an appropriately stunning building.
